  • Season's Greetings to all our members of the
    Onoway & District Chamber of Commerce.

    As recently appointed President of our Chamber, it is both a privilege and an honour to serve
    on behalf of our business community.

    Our great team at the Chamber and myself look forward to building a brighter tomorrow for
    you, our business owners and operators.

    Our mandate for the 2024 new year is not only exciting, but highly beneficial for our
    businesses and community. Here is what we will be working on:

    1. Expanding and improving our member benefits plan.
    2. Highlighting our local business to outside markets.
    3. Moving to enhance new marketing opportunities though our conferences, website, and print media.
    4. Enhancing and building on our social media presence.
    5. Marketing our local businesses through our new sign located strategically at the 4-way stop.     One of our busiest intersections. (Across from Petro-Canada)

    As we have done in the past, we will once again revive our "Video Service Program". Through
    a video, we will show case your business and provide you with some great exposure on our
    platforms. This is a fun and interactive way to advertise.

    The Chamber will continue to host a variety of events. We look for sponsors to help build a
    strong community awareness, showing the importance and generosity of our local business
    partners. Events like our Soap-Box Derby, Christmas In the Park, Chamber Christmas Gala,
    Meet The Members BBQ, Picnic in The Park, and numerous other venues.

    2024 will prove to be a year of growth and opportunity for Onoway Businesses, as the
    trade corridors to the west and the north continue to heat up with new energy exports and
    development.

    We look forward to your continued support and welcome any input you may have on how we
    can make our services better for you, our members.

    As you know, we on the Chamber are volunteers and are always looking to build on our
    numbers and participation. Should you or any of your staff/employees wish to join, kindly feel

     Who can Join as a Member?

    Any business, Not for Profit or Person, who believes a vibrant business community is the foundation for a strong place in which to work and live.

    Every 3 months * a General Members meeting is held.  A different member hosts the meeting and has the opportunity to offer a tour and present their product &/or services.  These are great opportunities to Build Business Relationships. 

    Our Annual General Meeting is to be held on March 20, 2024 at 7pm at the Heritage Center Gym (To be confirmed).
